dying…

I apologize, this is going to be another post about the exams.

So…I spent the last five days trying to remember the content of the micro lectures. And I am only half way through! The material we have to memorise for the semester cannot be compared to any of my other units!! My stack of notes is as thick as the textbook! We have to remember the names of bacteria (Enterococcus faecalisClostridium sp… just to give a few examples), which class they belong to, their optimum/minimum/maximum temperature, etc. :(

rant D;

Now I remember why I didn’t want to go back and watch the lectures on viruses! This guy doesn’t even finish what he starts off saying and then goes COMPLETELY off topic!! His slides doesn’t even make any sense, it is mostly composed of incomplete sentences, figures with no explanations and freakin writes an essay on background information that we don’t even need to know! And he doesn’t even follow the slide order, his lecture is all over the place! And I don’t get why he starts off every lecture repeating the same thing (same slides) from the previous lecture!? I don’t even know what the hell is going on…. I think I’m going to fail the virology part of micro :( I would learn the stuff off the textbook, but I don’t even know what I’m suppose to know/not know..there’s no learning objectives or lecture summary on his slides :/

EXAMS T__T

Yea, I’m totally ready for the micro exam now that I know the difference! I’m planning to draw this on the exam paper heheh :)

I never thought I could pull through, but I finished watching ~30 biochem lectures last weekend. That’s pretty much all of the biochem lectures (except the chemotrypsin one, damn you chemotrypsin…Y U SO BORING?!) And I watched about 12 micro lectures D: There’s no way I am going back to watch the viruses and any of Mohammed’s lectures. It’s not because I don’t like them *cough cough* but REALLY…it’s because their lectures are self explanatory, and most of the time they just read off the slides or go off topic. So I have pretty much finish *studying* I just have to memorise everything now. This means that I am 70% ready for MOL, hahaha since what we learn in MOL is almost exactly the same thing as biochem and micro :D The only thing that I haven’t started studying is immuno, and I never attend any lectures! It’s a good thing the exam is still a week away AND I have a 5 day gap for immuno after the biochem exam :)

I’ve been pushing myself to study really hard lately, I really really want that HD for micro!! I hope I can get at LEAST a D for biochem and MOL. My goals for immuno is still unset :/ But why do I feel like all this studying is still not enough? Why do I feel like I still need more time? Do I really?
